Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WowTo platform at wowto.ch ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

WowTo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

WowTo is an AI-powered online marketplace for used cars in Switzerland. The Platform enables private and commercial sellers to list vehicles for sale and buyers to search, compare, and contact sellers.

AI features include automated photo enhancement, AI-generated listing descriptions, and VIN-based vehicle data decoding. These features are provided as tools to assist sellers and do not constitute guarantees about vehicle condition.

You must create an account to list vehicles or send messages. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must provide accurate and complete information. Accounts created with false information may be suspended or terminated.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under Swiss law.

Sellers must ensure all listing information is accurate and truthful, including vehicle condition, mileage, and history.

Listings must describe vehicles currently available for sale in Switzerland. Listings for stolen, illegal, or non-existent vehicles are strictly prohibited.

WowTo reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms, contains misleading information, or is otherwise inappropriate.

AI-enhanced photos and descriptions are labelled as such. Sellers are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before publication.

Listing fees are charged at the time of publication. Prices are displayed in Swiss Francs (CHF) including applicable taxes.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. WowTo does not store your payment card details.

Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing has been published, except where required by applicable law.

WowTo is not a party to any sale transaction between buyers and sellers. All vehicle sale agreements are made directly between the parties involved.

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; post false, misleading, or fraudulent content; harass or threaten other users; attempt to circumvent the Platform's security measures; scrape or automatically collect data from the Platform.

Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and compliance with Swiss consumer protection laws.

The Platform, including its design, code, and AI models, is the property of WowTo. Users retain ownership of their original content (photos, descriptions) but grant WowTo a licence to display, modify (via AI enhancement), and promote their listings on the Platform.

WowTo acts as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated content or the outcome of any vehicle transaction.

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, WowTo's liability is limited to the fees paid by the user for the service in question.

WowTo makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of AI-generated content.

You may delete your account at any time. Active listings will be removed upon account deletion.

WowTo may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without prior notice.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (liability, intellectual property, governing law) will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
